SECURITY
Neighborhood Watch Committee
Steve Schirtzinger, Chair neighborhood-watch@fmeha.org
Thank you, neighbors, for doing your part to keep our wonderful community a safe place to live.
Do you practice the 9 o'clock rule? Every evening around 9pm you check to make sure your property is secure.
Do you want to become part of neighborhood watch? It's easy to do and training is provided by our Reston District Police officers. You could be walking your dog, a jogger, pushing your child in a stroller, everyone can do it. You don't only need to be out at night; things can happen anytime. If you’re interested email neighborhood-watch@fmeha.org and leave a name and number.
If you see suspicious activity or have a complaint or concern, call the Fairfax County Non-Emergency number 703-691-2131 and report it or you may report it online http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/police or http://www. fairfaxcounty.gov/complaints and click on “Make a Report”.
